Matt Catanzano is an actor, writer, and improviser living in New York City. He recently performed in an NBC comedy showcase in LA directed by Mick Napier.  He spent 5 years as part of the Mainstage Cast at Improv Asylum in Boston’s North End performing nightly sketch and improv comedy.  While in Boston, he acted in commercials, industrials, and independent films while performing comedy at night.  He currently lives in NYC where he creates online sketches for his YouTube page, “Simply Unemployable” as well as doing Live Simply Unemployable Shows around the city.  He has monthly shows at the People’s Improv Theater and Union Hall.  In 2012, Simply Unemployable became a Channel Partner with Broadway Video’s YouTube page, Above Average Productions. He has co-written and starred in two webseries with Above Average (Portrait STUdio & Congressional Hearings) as well as many one-off sketches.  Simply Unemployable sketches have been featured on The A.V. Club, Entertainment Weekly, Buzzfeed, Digg, College Humor, Splitsider, NPR, Backstage Magazine, Mashable, and the Huffington Post, among others.
