Johnathan Fernandez is from the Poconos (yes, non-vacationing people live there), went to Penn State, then moved to New York City where he has studied extensively at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.  He is a series regular on Fox’s new series “Lethal Weapon." His other TV credits include the HBO's “Girls," "The Daily Show," "The Colbert Report,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," VH-1's "Big Morning Buzz," NBC’s "Next Caller," MTV’s "Hey Girl," and "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.”  Johnathan appeared in ABC's 2015 NY Talent Showcase.

Johnathan has hosted recap shows for USA Network's SUITS.  Be sure to catch season two of NatGeo's program “StarTalk" starring Neil Degrasse Tyson, where you can see Johnathan doing a comedy segment with Bill Nye The Science Guy.  Johnathan was a host for the first season of Morgan Spurlock/Yahoo's series “Mansome," is currently hosting for Univision's YouTube channel "The Flama," and has recently shot two pilots: "TV Land Live" and “Bite!" which was produced by Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney for the Pivot channel.

Johnathan was just in the film "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby," starring James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain. Spoiler alert: he punches James in the face.
